THE MAN CHILD WHO WANTS TO BE EMPEROR

Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines happiness as a state of well-being and contentment. Apparently, when the Biden administration constituted the government of the United States, such a state of well-being was beyond the reach of Elon Musk. Even though the Democrats provided Tesla with a loan of $465,000,000.00 in 2009 and implemented a program to incentivize the production of electric vehicles with a $7,500.00 tax credit. Which went towards the purchase of each new electric vehicle.

Elon Musk has called Biden a ‘damp sock puppet’ and feuded with the president for months. He also complained that President Biden did not introduce a carbon tax or visit any of his companies, despite visiting Ford and General Motors. In February 2022, nearly 40,000 Tesla fans signed a petition on Change.org calling for Biden to acknowledge Tesla and its role as the leading electric car maker in the nation. “The White House and the Biden Administration have intentionally been trying to ignore Tesla’s hard work while propping up GM and others as ‘EV leaders.'” BUSINESS INSIDER, By Grace Kay, 25 February 2023.

WASHINGTON — President Biden called Wednesday for a federal investigation of billionaire businessman Elon Musk, who recently purchased Twitter with a stated goal of restoring free-speech principles. “Do you think Elon Musk is a threat to US national security?” Bloomberg reporter Jenny Leonard asked Biden at his third solo White House press conference. “And should the US — and with the tools you have — investigate his joint acquisition of Twitter with foreign governments, which include the Saudis?” “I think that Elon Musk’s cooperation and/or technical relationships with other countries is worthy of being looked at,” Biden answered. “Whether or not he is doing anything inappropriate, I’m not suggesting that. I’m suggesting that it’s worth being looked at.” BIDEN CALLS FOR FEDERAL INVESTIGATION OF ELON MUSK OVER “RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER COUNTRIES.” By Steven Nelson and Caitlin Doornbos, November 9, 2022.

The fact that the Chief Executive made that suggestion publicly did nothing to endear the Democrats to Elon Musk, who, from that time onwards, or at least so it seems, started to launch attacks against Democrats on Twitter.

  • Tesla CEO Elon Musk blasted the Biden administration and Democrats on Twitter as the world’s richest person doubled down on his vow to vote for Republicans.
  • Musk accused the Biden administration of doing “everything it can to sideline” and ignore Tesla, despite its dominance in the electric vehicle industry.
  • Musk, who is making an increasingly fraught attempt to purchase Twitter for $44 billion, suggested he would become the target of a smear campaign by Democrats.
  • Business Insider reported claims that Musk in 2016 engaged in sexual misconduct against a private jet flight attendant, who later was paid $250,000 in severance by his SpaceX aerospace firm. He denies her allegations.
  • “In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party. But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican,” Musk tweeted Thursday.
  • “Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold …,” he wrote, ending the tweet with a “popcorn” emoji. ELON MUSK BLASTS BIDEN ADMINISTRATION, DEMOCRATS ON TWITTER OVER “HATE,” SIDLINING OF TESLA. By Dan Mangan, Friday May 20, 2022.

It is interesting to note that of all the twenty-five multi-billionaires in America, only Elon Musk is actually begging and clamouring for attention from the political elite. He’s behaving like a neglected child who just can’t get enough hugs, kisses, and affection from his parents. The other extremely wealthy people in this country do their utmost to stay out of the limelight and go about their business quietly. Ultimately, Musk made good on his threats to support the Republican Party by investing $250 million in Trump’s presidential campaign. At first, everything seemed rosy since the Grand Old Party was catapulted to an election victory and Trump was elected President for a second term.

Elon Musk arrives to speak at a rally of President Donald Trump’s supporters after Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025, in Washington, DC [Matt Rourke/AP]

Obviously, Tesla’s CEO was thrilled by the turn of political events in America, and he celebrated this reality in many ways. He was present at Trump’s inauguration, where he was permitted to address the assembly but he also gestured what seemed to many to be a nazi salute.

In November of 2024, President Trump announced the creation of a new department which was effected by Executive Fiat. This agency would be led by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. After a few weeks, the nation was advised that Mr. Ramaswamy had other interests of a political nature in the State of Ohio. Therefore, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) would operate exclusively under Musk’s supervision. ALJAZEERA: Trump names Musk and Ramaswamy to head new government efficiency department, 13 November 2024.

Finding a way to slither out of DOGE and to avoid any further contact with that agency was probably an act of great wisdom by Ramaswamy. On the other hand, Musk charged ahead like a bull in a china shop, wielding a chainsaw as it were, while breaking and dismantling everything in his path. Soon, a tremendous public outcry resulted from the chaos and mayhem generated by his ill-advised actions. Consequently, not only were many agencies, such as USAID and the Department of Veterans Affairs, shuttered or hobnobbed, but numerous lawsuits challenging the legality of his actions were also filed.

On the day of his inauguration, President Donald J. Trump issued an executive order establishing the Department of Government Efficiency (the United States DOGE Service). Since then, spending has been scrutinized, government offices have been reorganized and staff decimated, a federal hiring freeze was implemented, sensitive data has been shared with temporary government employees, deregulation has begun, and scores of federal contracts and grants have been terminated. These changes have caused widespread chaos and uncertainty for federal agencies, civil servants, and entities that rely on federal funding to provide essential services to the public. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has not escaped that chaos, and concerns exist among VA staff about the impact on DOGE’s work inside the agency and the impact it will have on the veterans and the families the agency serves. A CLOSETED SOCIOPATH (CONCLUDED)

At around that time, I went down to the Berekum Market to buy some vegetables. I was shocked to discover that the price of Tomatoes had been increased to one hundred cedis (100.00 GHS) for the same container size that I usually purchased. Previously, they were being sold for only half that price. Having some knowledge of the vendors’ practices, I went outside the market to see if I could find a better deal. I found tomatoes of a different genre for just a fraction of the price that sellers located within the market were demanding. The same rule applied to Okra, which was sold at a much higher price within the market but at a sharp discount outside of the market. I didn’t know the exact reason for this price disparity, and I didn’t care to find out. Ms. Comfort had disclosed to me during one of our many conversations that she had a previous boyfriend. But she ended the relationship because he was always demanding sex, and she didn’t enjoy it. This story left many question marks in my mind, especially since she claimed that they only had sex twice.

All the girls that I knew had a different story. Some of them were in relationships exclusively for sex, but they were paid. Many of them had several male clients. One beautiful female that I knew had one boyfriend. She was also suffering from Sickle Cell Anemia, but her boyfriend paid her a monthly stipend specifically for sexual services, and that was the full extent of their relationship. I came to the realization that Ms. Comfort’s case was unique for many reasons. First, she was far from normal. She had lost her father at the tender age of five. From that time onward, she was trapped in a never-ending time cocoon, in which there was no progressive metamorphosis, no emotional development, and from which there was no liberation. She yearned for masculine attention, but any romantic attachment to her was only a mirage because, emotionally, she was strictly unavailable. She was still mourning the loss of her father, and to fill that vacuum, she wanted a man of means who could compensate her for the loss she had suffered by pampering her with money and gifts. However, since she was only emotionally five years old, she could never reciprocate appropriately.

I wanted to know if my relatively new girlfriend had been healed of her disease. Over two weeks had transpired since my prayers on her behalf. Therefore, I sent her a text, “Ms. Comfort, please meet me on Tuesday morning in front of The Happy Hospital at 9:00, so that I can take you to the lab to be tested for Sickle Cell Anemia.” The text was dated Monday, May 19, 2025, and she replied, “O.K.” I arrived at the facility at 8:30 and waited patiently until 9:00 A.M., at which time I called Ms. Comfort to remind her of our appointment. She seemed surprised, but she turned up at 9:15 anyway, since her office was nearby. We both proceeded upstairs and sat on two of the chairs in the waiting room, where several other patients were assembled.

Eventually, the technician came and summoned her. We didn’t have to wait long because the technician was a friend of mine. That’s how business is conducted in Ghana. The Test itself took about 15 minutes, and afterwards we waited for another 30 minutes for the results. My friend finally appeared with a piece of paper, which he handed to me for review, and announced, “Mr. James, the Test is positive.” My heart sank. How could this possibly happen? I mentally exclaimed, I had prayed for many other people before, and they had all been healed. So what did I do wrong on this occasion? After arriving home, I called Mr. Eric Kyere, my friend and lab technician, and shared my concerns with him. His reply was, “Mr. James, this is Sickle Cell Anemia, a severe disease, God can’t heal that!” Interestingly enough, these words were spoken by a gentleman whose mother had been suffering from a severe medical condition. On whose behalf I had sought divine intervention, and who was completely healed. Let God be praised!

Daily, I posted a religious status update online and periodically checked to see if I needed to renew it. On one of those occasions, I was surprised to see that Ms. Comfort was flirting with another gentleman. She also addressed him as “sweetheart.” I was neither shocked nor disappointed, even though she claims to pray without fail at least twice daily. But I questioned her to determine what this was all about. “Oh, she is only a friend she responded.” The following day, I checked again, but my first impressions were confirmed. She was indeed flirting with another man. “How can you claim that this person is your female friend? He is a man,” I asserted. “He is only a friend from my senior high school days she rationalized, can’t I at least have friends?” she complained. Obviously, she didn’t want me to know what she was doing. But I saw far more than was apparent. She was flirting with another man, not because she admired him or had any interest in him, but because she wanted to ensnare him and make him one of her victims. This was her game, and she was on it. As I thought about Ms. Comfort’s general behavioural pattern, many adjectives marched through my mind. One such adjective was a parasite. But her conduct was far more than parasitism.

She was beautiful, intelligent, and well-educated, with goals and ambitions. However, she feared exposure. She wanted no one to know who she really was, a closeted Sociopath. Because if she were exposed, her personality would disintegrate into shreds. Just like a vampire, a creature of darkness, who becomes engulfed in consuming flames when exposed to God’s glorious sunlight. Finally, I started to understand why Ms. Comfort had not been healed by The Spirit. She was in the grips of a very serious vice, of which she needed to repent. As we read in scripture,

“Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him.
And to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”
Isaiah 57:6-7 (NKJV).

As I contemplated her case, I felt considerably better. She had not been healed, but it was not my fault. It was all her own doing. After just a few days, Ms. Comfort messaged me on WhatsApp to complain, “I requested some money from you the other day to pay for some clothing items I’m trying to purchase, but you refused to give it to me.” “I never said that,” I observed. “Can you verify the transaction with a receipt?” I asked her. “She doesn’t give receipts,” was her reply. “Why would an intelligent, well-educated college graduate like yourself want to do business with a merchant who doesn’t give receipts?” I inquired. “Have you forgotten where you are?” I continued. “This is Ghana, the fraud and scamming capital of the world. Suppose the merchandise turns out to be stolen. How would you defend yourself from prosecution, or protect yourself from imprisonment?” “She is not a fraud, I’ve been buying dresses from her since my senior high school days,” she concluded. “Well, since she is a friend of yours, you should have no problems obtaining a receipt from her,” I contended.

The conversation ended on that note, and she never resumed it. She probably felt that I was about to jilt her based on all that I had stated about a previous girlfriend. Whose only interest was to get as much as she possibly could from me without reciprocating in any way. She saw the writing on the wall. Consequently, she was eager to scam me out of as much money as she possibly could before the portcullis fell. The fact that I exercised some basic common sense and demanded documentary evidence for purported transactions that she had described stopped her dead in her tracks. My so-called girlfriend never contacted me again. That was her way to communicate the obvious but silent message: “I only want you so that I can milk you for all that you are worth, and if you frustrate my efforts in that regard, then I want to have nothing further to do with you.” I followed her example and maintained the status quo.

A CLOSETED SOCIOPATH (CONTINUED)

I kept in touch with Ms. Comfort and occasionally visited her at her workplace. Where the only staff assisting her were family members. I discovered from my WhatsApp conversations with her that she was suffering from a Mild Mood Disorder. Consequently, I tried cheering her up with some happy foods such as Sardines, Ripe Bananas, and Chocolate Ice Cream. From the very commencement of our friendship, Ms. Comfort advised me that she needed an expensive wig, clothes, shoes, and underwear. Such a demand raised many red flags in my mind because I had run into such entanglements before, and I knew exactly what this meant. This kind of behaviour was typical of romantic ‘hit and run scam artists.’ Accordingly, I avoided giving her any expensive gifts, although occasionally I would give her some cosmetics. Immediately after receiving the cosmetics, Ms. Comfort messaged me on WhatsApp to say, “You know what, I really love you.” Was this an attempt on her part to condition and reinforce my behaviour in that regard?

During one of our many conversations, I mentioned a previous girlfriend who never came to my house. Still, she expected me to lavish expensive gifts and money upon her indefinitely, without reciprocating in any way. I further advised her that I dropped that girl unceremoniously, following the good counsel of my friends. Especially since I suspected that she was a Paranoid Schizophrenic. For some strange reason, Ms. Comfort became emotionally upset at this revelation and even shed tears, complaining that, “You shouldn’t have said that, and I have nothing further to say.” Most of the girls I had befriended in the past invariably offered me something in return for my acts of generosity and consideration. They would either say, “Mr. James, do you want sex?” Or they would offer to clean my apartment, cook for me, or iron my clothes. Not so with Ms. Comfort, who offered me nothing in return for my kindness. It finally dawned on me that she had visited my home to assess my financial worth and determine if I had the means to finance her grandiose ambitions.

“Life is full of surprises,” as the saying goes. Some of them, however, turn out to be downright shocks. During her second visit to my home, Ms. Comfort finally revealed that she was suffering from Sickle Cell Anemia, something that I suspected after she appeared to be physically stressed by ironing only three shirts for me. All of this occurred after I fed her with toasted whole wheat bread, scrambled eggs, and curried baked beans. I found this unexpected physical phenomenon strange, given that I had observed her at work, where she seemed energetic and strong on those occasions. This manifestation could have been feigned and was probably designed to discourage me from expecting her to shoulder any responsibilities. Although her complexion is as black as soot, which in no way detracts from her physical beauty and charms. I noticed that at the time of her visit to my home, she was dressed in black. I had witnessed such appearances before, but the girls involved were white and admitted to me after questioning them that they were witches. Furthermore, people that I know with a complexion as dark as night prefer to wear light colours.

I prayed for Ms. Comfort before she left my home, and while doing so, I held both of her hands. I was confident that she would be healed of her disease. I had prayed for several other people in the past, and they were all healed through the Spirit’s intervention. Let God be praised. Accordingly, there was absolutely no doubt in my mind that my prayers on Ms. Comfort’s behalf would achieve a similar outcome. My new friend had completed nursing school and was a candidate for a Bachelor of Nursing degree. However, she had to proceed to Sunyani, the Regional Capital of the Bono Region, to sit her final examinations. After arriving there and lodging at the prearranged facility, she messaged me to say that she had to pay an invigilation fee of six hundred cedis (600.00 GHS). I asked her if she could authenticate such a transaction with an official receipt. She replied that they didn’t issue receipts. All of this sounded like make-believe to me, and I immediately suspected that she was attempting to scam me. I had been brutally scammed before by some Ghanaians who claimed that they were about to ship me some gold while I was residing in the USA. I had learned a costly lesson on that occasion, and I was not about to repeat it. Deceiving others and financially exploiting them seems to be an intricate part of Ghanaian culture. I advised Ms. Comfort that unless the expense could be verified with a receipt, I wouldn’t be able to assist her.

After Ms. Comfort returned from Sunyani, she advised me that she had to attend an upcoming church convocation and needed some pocket money. At that time, I suggested to her that I had observed that, unlike most of my past female friends, she did nothing for me. “What do you mean?” She demanded. “You do absolutely nothing for me, and in five months, you have only visited my home twice, and most of the times that I’ve invited you to my house, you claim that you are busy,” I asserted. She seemed to be moved to tears. “But I came to your house and I tried my best, and this is how you thank me.” Her histrionics were well-timed. But I was not impressed. “I know what this is all about,” she lamented, “You are saying those things because I haven’t given you my body.” “We have known each other now for five months,” I contended, “During that period, have I ever asked you for sex at any time?” I inquired. “No, you have not,” she replied, but that is where this conversation is headed.” Obviously, she was acutely uncomfortable with the subject under discussion and was desperately trying to shift the conversation to terrain where she would be more relaxed.

A CLOSETED SOCIOPATH

I accidentally ran into a young lady in the Berekum Market in January. I struck up a conversation with her because I was behind her, as she appeared to be marching athletically down the market aisle. Was this walk of her’s a calculated maneuver on her part to attract some masculine attention, or was it an innocent necessity designed to get her from one area of the market to another location? If the reason for her conduct was the former, I had witnessed this kind of behaviour before. The year was 2019. In another section of The Berekum Market, I saw a tall, very dark-complexioned, beautiful young woman strolling down another market aisle near the section where meats, cosmetics, detergents, and towels are usually sold. I knew instinctively what this stroll was all about. She worked at one of the stalls controlled by a close relative. However, maybe in her mind, she wasn’t amassing sufficient masculine attention. Accordingly, she decided it would be appropriate and in her best interest to saunter aimlessly around the market’s perimeter and show herself. Was she doing this because she was essentially a slay queen? (a call girl), trying to pick up some male clients who could afford her services. Whether or not this contrived routine was beneficial to her is uncertain, as she remains single and has gained a significant amount of weight. Such marketing ploys are commonplace in Ghana, both in urban and suburban areas. Because jobs are limited in supply, and money is scarce.

All I needed to say to the lady behind whom I walked was, “I think you are beautiful, and I love the way you look. May I have your number, please?” She quickly obliged me. This outcome might have been her objective, or it could have been entirely coincidental. What a contrast that encounter was to another one I had run into while walking around the full area of a Walmart store in Brown Deer, Wisconsin? I had to walk inside because the brutal American winter was at its peak at that time of year, between December and April. While making my rounds, I passed several marketing stalls, which were mainly controlled by young women. Unknown to me, one of them had become paranoid by the fact that I passed her area frequently. I think I had to encircle the whole circumference of the store sixteen times to achieve my goal of four miles per night. A black male supervisor of average height approached me and said, “Sir, you are making a member of our female staff extremely nervous.” My response was, “I am very grateful for this information, thank you very much indeed, God bless you.” “How did this happen?” he continued. “It was completely accidental,” I asserted. “But for the future, I will avoid her like the plague.” Subsequently, I stopped walking in that store and only went there during the day to make purchases that I couldn’t obtain elsewhere at a lower price. I could have taken a few moments to explain the reasons for my actions, but after careful consideration, I decided not to waste my time. I resumed my walking activities in another gigantic store, and I continued my pedestrian activities there until the brutal American winter came to an end. During the fall of 2019, I left for Ghana.

At the time of my first encounter with my new friend, Ms. Comfort, I was also making frequent trips to the dentist. Initially, I was seeing a medical professional at a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he was having problems continuing his needed intervention. Because I didn’t seem to be responding appropriately to the many pain-killing injections he had administered to me via the afflicted area of my mouth, and this happened twice. Ultimately, I sought help elsewhere. My new dentist eventually decided to extract the troublesome molar in my lower left jaw. The whole experience was traumatic, but I survived, thanks be to God. On the day of my last dental visit, I called Ms. Comfort to find out if she had received the AirTime that I had sent her. She answered in the affirmative and thanked me profusely. She then went on to say that she had come down with Malaria. I advised her to go to a nearby hospital for testing. I promised to send her some money to cover the medical expenses of her diagnosis and treatment. Immediately thereafter, I sent her three hundred cedis and requested a receipt. I asked for documentary evidence to verify her medical expenses, as Ghana is notorious for scams.

I received a call two weeks later from Ms. Comfort advising me that she had recovered entirely from her Malaria diagnosis. She declared at the time that I was her hero and sent me a receipt authenticating the full cost of her treatment, which happened to be the exact amount I had sent her. Not long after, we arranged for her to visit my home. I gave her explicit instructions and counselled her to disembark from the Okada (taxi) at Joeman’s Bore Hole (Well), which was situated on Sofokyere Avenue. She claimed to fully understand my instructions and advised me that as soon as she got to the pre-arranged location, she would alert me. I received a call from her two hours later, informing me that she had arrived. I prepared myself and went to the area, but she was nowhere in sight. I assumed that she had gone all the way to the end of the taxi’s route. I called her on the phone and asked her exactly where she was. But couldn’t understand what she was saying, although I heard her words distinctly. Anyway, I advised her to retrace her steps and waited patiently for her arrival. Thirty minutes later, she appeared. I didn’t bother to try to find out exactly where the two of us had gone wrong because I was thrilled to see her, tall, slender, and beautiful. She was dressed in a bland blouse and a loose-fitting pair of jeans.

I escorted her to my residence and showed her around my two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, large dining room, large hall, large kitchen, front and back porches, and spacious garage. She seemed to be impressed and complimented me on having a comfortable living arrangement. Thereafter, we chatted. She talked about her family history, mentioned that she had three sisters, one brother, and that one of her sisters was suffering from speech and hearing disabilities. She also noted that, even though they all lived with her mother, who was the store owner. At which she worked six days a week without compensation, her father was deceased. She had lost him when she was only five years old. She remained with me for two hours, and since the sun was already setting, I had cautioned her against waiting at the taxi stand in Sofokyere after dark.

THE GARAGE ATTACHED TO MY APARTMENT; AND THE APARTMENT NEXT DOOR (CONCLUDED)

One of the problems I encountered after moving into this apartment was the presence of Monitor Lizards. They were almost everywhere. They seem to have moved in, in droves. Since there were no human residents to drive them out. Some of them I killed. But eventually, I had to spray the rooms with an obnoxious-smelling mixture of kerosene oil, Dettol, and some other liquid chemical to keep those reptiles at bay. A procedure that I had to utilize every two months. Until I discovered that placing camphor balls at strategic locations, such as the window crevices, through which they would creep, to enter most rooms. That was sufficient to repel them successfully and permanently. I subsequently learned from the caretaker’s eldest daughter that this unit had been empty for approximately four years. She used to sleep in this apartment, and so did the landlady’s eldest late son, Sam. As if the presence of poisonous reptiles wasn’t bad enough. A persistent and irritating leak on the back porch seemed to be coming from upstairs. After complaining to Sam and his brother for approximately one year, and sounding like a broken record, two plumbers were finally hired to fix the problem. One of the customs I learned about in Ghana is that landlords do not do property repairs/maintenance. Once the tenant has paid and signed the lease, he fixes any problems encountered during that rental contract. Of course, this practice is contrary to Ghanaian law, but it is standard procedure in this country.

While in town on one of my many shopping excursions, I entered a shop in a narrow corridor within the Berekum Market. At first, I peered inside to ensure that the merchandise interested me. I saw a wide array of intriguing and valuable items. I struck up a conversation with the owner. A short, plump, charming, and attractive young lady. After I purchased a piece of her merchandise, she told me she was searching for an apartment. I advised her that there was an empty apartment next door to me. She stated that she also lived in Sofokyere, and we arranged for a time at which she would come and examine the place that I had described to her. She was there the following morning with one of her siblings. They loved the spaciousness and the number of rooms and bathrooms this unit afforded them. After two weeks, she paid me the deposit, and I started doing the needed renovations. The most obvious and urgent upgrade of the rooms was the painting. When I showed this space to the painting contractor, he quoted me a charge of four hundred cedis (US$24.00). When the time came for the work to be done, he charged eight hundred cedis (US$48.00) instead. The landlord and her sister were predictably upset that I had allowed myself to be exploited in this manner. Therefore, I refunded the sister four hundred cedis to assuage their disappointment.

Exploiting foreigners is a widespread issue in Ghana. If you come from overseas, you are charged twice as much as the locals for construction-related work. Since the Ghana Cedi has been drastically devalued against all major foreign currencies, such as the British Pound, the United States Dollar, and the Euro, foreigners are expected to bear the brunt of the cost increases. The painters didn’t do a perfect job either. Since visible flaws were apparent in several places. But the new tenant voiced no complaints. Probably because the water in Sofokyere had been turned off for approximately four months, and all the water she and her sisters obtained came directly from my polytank. Moreover, she was extremely fond of a broth I brewed from Moringa leaves, Prekese, Pineapple peel, Ginger, Cloves, and lemons. She came to my apartment almost daily to get a cup of that drink sweetened with honey. I was also indebted to her for directing me to a Lebanese store in Sunyani’s Area No. 2, where I obtained white and yellow cheese, kiwis, and Greek Yogurt. Moreover, her patience was almost comparable to Job’s because she endured much inconvenience. At the same time, she waited for the lock on her front door to be fixed, the defective windows to be repaired, and the two unpainted ceilings in her apartment to be completed.

After the caretaker and his family moved out of the apartment upstairs, they left it in chaos. The floors were unswept, the bathrooms had large swaths of black cobwebs clinging to the walls, and the door of one spacious bedroom was locked. I wondered how some people could be so disorganized and unhygienic. The landlady visited this property with her sister to thank me for attending her mother’s funeral. I ensured that I was there because funerals are huge events in Ghana. Especially since her mother was a queen, according to Ghanaian tradition. They both thanked me for my presence and donation. Since I witnessed it as a costly funeral, I gave them even more money, for which they were both very grateful. We all went upstairs to survey the vacant apartment. During that period, I urged them both to get someone to clean the apartment so it wouldn’t remain in chaos. Which we all witnessed during our brief tour. They both agreed. At the same time, I recommended a young gentleman who had worked for me on many previous occasions and, by my standard, had always done an excellent job.

The proprietress advised me that she would be returning to Ghana in approximately two years and would definitely need the apartment I presently occupy. She also informed me that she owned a house off of Continental Avenue and invited me to come and take a look at it to see if it would interest me. The young gentleman I had recommended to do the cleaning upstairs accompanied me. The directions to the house in the Continental Avenue area were given over the telephone in Twi. A dialect with which I was not conversant, but which was very conveniently used by all three of them. Upon our arrival at the location described, and after examining the apartment in question, I was not impressed with its location or condition. However, I kept my feelings to myself and told them I would be in touch. While we were leaving, the landlady paid the gentleman who accompanied me 300 Ghana Cedis in advance. To clean the unoccupied apartment upstairs and the vacant apartment next to mine. I considered such an act unwise, but since she did not give the money to me, I remained silent.

When the time came for the cleaning work in both apartments, the same person I had so highly recommended turned out to be a great disappointment. He swept and mopped the floors in both apartments for about four hours, and even though I pleaded with him to do more, he refused. According to Ghanaian customs and practices, the money paid to him would have been sufficient to compensate him for at least three days of work. The proprietress, however, was foolish enough to pay him all of the money before any of the work was done. Consequently, he felt no inner compulsion to do more than the minimum amount of work needed. Since he had already received complete financial satisfaction. The tiles on the bathroom walls remained unscrubbed. The white sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms were black and neglected. The toilet bowls remained unwashed. The windows remained covered with dust. I thought this was extremely short-sighted of him. Accordingly, I resolved that if I ever had any position of responsibility that required firm judgement, integrity, and a great deal of industry, I would think one hundred times before committing any such position of trust to him. That’s precisely the way that many people shoot themselves in the foot. They believe that by their unwise decision, they are achieving some immediate advantage. Yet at the same time, they fail to perceive that by this one injudicious maneuver, they cut themselves off from better opportunities in the future.

THE GARAGE ATTACHED TO MY APARTMENT; AND THE APARTMENT NEXT DOOR

When I first moved to this address, I paid the required rent for my two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom, large hall, dining room, front and back porches, and garage. I assumed that the rent covered all of the enclosed spaces. After living here for five years, in 2024, the caretaker’s eldest son told me that his mother needed to use my garage to store the grain the family used to make Kenkey every morning, which they regularly sold to community members. This sudden need arose because the shed near the wall, where they had previously stored those goods, was being converted into a small shop to benefit the proprietress residing in Belgium at the time. I then advised him that the garage was my personal private space and that I was not interested in sharing it with anyone.

That same week, the landlady’s son and her sister called me to say that the garage was never rented to me. They further informed me that garages are generally not rented with any apartment in Ghana. I was shocked to hear such news, and since I had some realtor friends in Berekum, I consulted with them before making any decision. Only then did I fully understand what the Spirit meant when He advised me before these developments, “That I would need to be careful to avoid coming trouble.” My friends in the real estate industry confirmed everything stated by the landlady’s relatives. Accordingly, I promptly paid the rent for the garage for one full year. They sounded like they wanted enough rent to cover the past five years, during which I thought the garage was mine. The realtors, however, advised me that they couldn’t go backward.

I recall that about two months before these developments. The caretaker and his son had been trying to get into the garage attached to my apartment. They were unsuccessful since the doors had been locked for over five years. Then they came to me and requested the keys to unlock the doors. However, I advised them that Mr. Sam (the proprietress’s late son), who rented me the apartment, had never given me the keys to the garage doors. They further explained to me that the property owner had directed them to make an entrance into the garage. However, they had to come inside my apartment and use the door that opened into the garage to access that space. I thought at the time that such instructions were extremely odd. Since I had rented the apartment, presumably the garage was under my control. Two months later, I would bump into the inconvenient truth.

At about the same time, one Saturday morning, I heard voices calling me at my apartment’s rear entrance. I didn’t pay any attention to those calls since it was Saturday, and the other people living on the property knew that, as a rule, I didn’t entertain guests or engage in any kind of secular discussion on the Seventh Day of the week. When the proprietress’s son and his aunt came to collect the rent for the garage, the son felt that the occasion was an appropriate time to complain about my unresponsiveness on the Saturday morning that they were trying to contact me. I listened carefully, then asked them if they had heard anything about the Sabbath. They answered in the affirmative. Thereafter, I took up my bible, turned to Exodus chapter 20, and read from verses 8-11.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.”

They both listened carefully because they were not unfamiliar with the Sabbath Truth. Afterwards, I asserted, ‘Folks, I’m begging you to not come and see me on a Saturday. Because you won’t be able to get me since I’m a Sabbath keeper.”

The apartment next to mine had been vacant for approximately three years. The family living there finally moved out because they were consistently experiencing financial problems. They had difficulty paying their portion of the water bill whenever it was due; they experienced challenges purchasing electrical credits whenever needed, and, of late, they couldn’t find money to pay their rent. They were probably asked to leave, and they did so promptly. Two young ladies were living there with other family members. After leaving, the younger one called me periodically whenever she needed money for school trips, a bag for her books, or some other necessary school expense. I always obliged her.

The proprietress called the caretaker and asked him to leave the huge apartment upstairs, where he and his family had lived rent-free for over 16 years. I had been up there a few times and couldn’t help but notice that there were no beds or other furniture pieces in any of the rooms. When I first moved here, my apartment downstairs and directly beneath theirs was regularly flooded because they would turn on a pipe to fill up a bowl or large container and then leave for church. I had to suffer the inconvenience of mopping up all that water resulting from their frequent carelessness. They were extremely apologetic for those mishaps, and I never lost my temper at any time, let God be praised. There were also signs of severe leaks in the roof from the upper floor’s ceiling. However, the most serious problem was that they wouldn’t stop using the two largest bathrooms upstairs for frequent showers. I repeatedly warned them that eventually, the floor would collapse because of water seepage, which caused the underlying board to rot. All of this was the result of poor and shoddy construction. Such signs were clearly visible in the northern corner of my dining room’s ceiling.

Unfortunately, however, they wouldn’t cease and desist, just as they couldn’t understand that they and their animals should stay off my front porch, even though I warned them three times in a highly courteous and very nice manner. They never got my point until they were finally kicked out and accused by the proprietress’s sisters of forcing me to build an enclosure around my porch to keep them and their animals out of my private space.

THE BEAST RECEIVED A DEADLY WOUND (REV. 13: 3): THE FRENCH REVOLUTION (CONCLUDED)

All the previous historical earthshaking events, such as the Great Schism, the Renaissance, and the Protestant Reformation, that the Roman Catholic Church and the Papacy experienced were merely earthquakes below 7 on the Richter scale, compared to the devastating tectonic shift brought about by the religious, social, political, and economic upheaval of the French Revolution. The seventh world empire (Roman Catholicism) was severely weakened by the three preceding historical events, so that when the fourth arrived, it had no power to stand against this overwhelming epochal tide.

The French Revolution wasn’t a Sunday picnic for the Catholic Church. It was more like a guillotine party, with the revolutionaries sharpening their blades against the necks of the clergy and their gilded altars. The streets ran red with the blood of priests who refused to bend a knee to the new regime. Their churches were ransacked, their treasures plundered, and their flocks scattered. But like a stubborn ember refusing to die, the Catholic faith flickered on in those shadows. Some churches remained open, their doors creaking like the hinges of a coffin. Priests who swore loyalty to the revolution, the so-called “juring” priests, offered a twisted version of the mass, their voices echoing in the hollow shells of once-sacred spaces. Many of the lower clergy did support the Revolution at the beginning. Like many of their parishioners, they lived in abject poverty and wanted change.

The bishops and higher clergy were part of the “ancien regime”, mixed with the aristocracy and royalty, and greatly feared the Revolution. As the Revolution became more atheistic and anti-Christian, cathedrals and churches were desecrated throughout France. A prostitute was enthroned as the goddess of Reason on the altar of Notre Dame, Paris. Priceless artworks were wrecked, monasteries destroyed, or confiscated. The clergy turned against the Revolution controlled by Danton, Robespierre, and the Terror. The tumbrils carried many innocent nuns and priests to the guillotine. In the Vendée region south of Brittany, the people rebelled in defence of their Catholic Faith. They were massacred by the revolutionary armies and over 500,000 slain. With the rise of Napoleon, the clergy were forced to swear allegiance to the State and deny the Pope. Many went underground at this point, the non-jurors, ministering in secret. The dreadful experience of the French Revolution made the Catholic Church extremely sceptical of all revolutionary movements, and too much a defender of the status quo through the nineteenth century. When priests and other Catholics refused an oath that placed the state in control of their religious faith, they were branded counter-revolutionaries and subject to imprisonment and execution. Many priests fled the country. QUORA: What Happened To The Catholic Church During The French Revolution By Sebastien Jullien.

The irony of these cataclysmic events was that what happened to the Roman Catholic Church during the violent and bloody excesses of the French Revolution was the very thing that was imposed against so-called heretics during the twelve hundred and sixty years of Papal supremacy.

The history of God’s people during the ages of darkness that followed upon Rome’s supremacy is written in heaven, but they have little place in human records. Few traces of their existence can be found, except in the accusations of their persecutors. It was the policy of Rome to obliterate every trace of dissent from her doctrines or decrees. Everything heretical, whether persons or writings, she sought to destroy. Expressions of doubt, or questions as to the authority of papal dogmas, were enough to forfeit the life of rich or poor, high or low. Rome endeavored also to destroy every record of her cruelty toward dissenters. Papal councils decreed that books and writings containing such records should be committed to the flames. Before the invention of printing, books were few in number, and in a form not favorable for preservation; therefore there was little to prevent the Romanists from carrying out their purpose. No church within the limits of Romish jurisdiction was long left undisturbed in the enjoyment of freedom of conscience. No sooner had the papacy obtained power than she stretched out her arms to crush all that refused to acknowledge her sway, and one after another the churches submitted to her dominion. ELLEN G. WHITE: The Great Controversy, pp. 61.2 to 62.1

The kidnapping of two popes by Napoleon Bonaparte in the late 18th and early 19th centuries was a dramatic episode in the history of the Catholic Church and Europe. It marked a clash between two powerful leaders with different visions for religion’s role and politics in the modern world. It also had lasting consequences for the relationship between the papacy and the French state and for the development of Catholicism in other countries. Pope Pius VI was the first victim of Napoleon’s ambition. He was arrested by French troops in 1796, after he refused to accept the terms of the Treaty of Tolentino, which forced him to cede large parts of the Papal States to France. He was taken to France as a prisoner, where he died in 1799, after enduring harsh conditions and humiliation. His death left the papal throne vacant for six months, until Cardinal Chiaramonti was elected Pope Pius VII in 1800.

Pope Pius VII tried to reach an agreement with Napoleon, who had become the First Consul of France and later the Emperor. In 1801, they signed the Concordat of 1801, which recognized Catholicism as the religion of the majority of the French people, but also limited the pope’s authority and influence in France. The pope agreed to renounce his claim to the lands taken by France, and to accept Napoleon’s appointment of bishops without his approval. However, this compromise did not last long, as Napoleon continued to interfere with the affairs of the Church and to demand more concessions from the pope. In 1804, he humiliated Pius VII by taking the crown from his hands and placing it on his own head during his coronation ceremony in Notre Dame Cathedral. In 1809, he annexed the remaining Papal States and declared Rome part of his empire. He also ordered the arrest of Pius VII, who had excommunicated him for his actions. The pope was taken from his palace in Rome to Savona, near Genoa, where he spent three years in isolation and under pressure to submit to Napoleon’s will.

In 1812, Pius VII was transferred to Fontainebleau, south of Paris, where he faced more coercion and threats from Napoleon. He was forced to sign a new concordat that gave Napoleon even more control over the Church in France and Italy. However, he later retracted his signature and denounced the concordat as invalid. He remained a prisoner until 1814, when Napoleon abdicated after his defeat at Waterloo. He then returned to Rome, where a jubilant crowd welcomed him. After years of turmoil, he restored his authority over the Papal States and reorganized the Church. THE BEAST RECEIVED A DEADLY WOUND REVELATION 13:3 (CONTINUED)

The next big bump in the road of history encountered by the Roman Catholic Church was the Protestant Reformation. For centuries, organized religion under the leadership of the Papacy had promulgated the unbiblical belief that salvation could be bought and sold. Believers from all social and economic strata periodically bought indulgences, performed various acts of penance, and paid large sums of money to have their loved ones prayed out of purgatory. Rulers and nations suffered the humiliation and inconvenience of various papal Bulls. If they dared to challenge the regal authority of the pope in any regard. Such a state of affairs existed for centuries because in all countries, the bible was not translated into the local vernacular; instead, it was written in Latin and chained to the lectern. Consequently, people were ignorant of the plain teachings of scripture.

The Protestant Reformation began on October 31, 1517, when Martin Luther, an Augustinian Monk and professor of moral theology at the University of Wittenberg, in the Electorate of Saxony (then part of the Holy Roman Empire, now part of modern Germany), posted 95 theses, or points for public discussion, nailed in paper onto the wooden public discussion doors of the churches of Wittenberg. These theses proposed an academic discussion of the efficacy of the then-current Catholic practice of indulgences, or written forgivenesses of sin sold by church leaders of the time under Papal authority. He also sent a copy of these theses in a letter to his ecclesiastical superior, Albert of Brandenburg, Archbishop of Mainz. QUORA: Where And How Did The Protestant Reformation Begin? By Angry Ape.

Martin Luther was the most pivotal figure of the Protestant Reformation. He was born on November 10, 1483, and died February 18, 1546. He was a German priest, theologian, author, hymnwriter, professor, and former Augustinian friar. Luther was the seminal figure of the Protestant Reformation, and his theological beliefs form the basis of Lutheranism. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Western and Christian history.

Luther was ordained to the priesthood in 1507. He came to reject several teachings and practices of the contemporary Roman Catholic Church, in particular the view on indulgences and papal authority. Luther initiated an international debate on these in e.g. his Ninety-five Theses, which he authored in 1517. In 1520, Pope Leo X demanded that Luther renounce all of his writings, and when Luther refused to do so, excommunicated him in January 1521. Later that year, Holy Roman Emperor Charles V condemned Luther as an outlaw at the Diet of Worms. When Luther died in 1546, his excommunication by Leo X was still in effect.

Luther taught that justification and, consequently, salvation and eternal life, is not earned by any human acts or intents or merit; rather, they are received only as the free gift of God’s grace through the believer’s faith in Jesus ChristLuther’s theology challenged the authority and office of the pope and bishops by teaching that the Bible is the only source of divinely revealed knowledge on the Gospel, and opposed sacerdotalism by considering all baptized Christians to be a holy priesthood. Those who identify with these, as well as Luther’s wider teachings, are called Lutherans, although Luther insisted on Christian or Evangelical (German: evangelisch), as the only acceptable names for individuals who professed Christ.

Luther’s translation of the Bible from Latin into German made the Bible vastly more accessible to the laity, which had a tremendous impact on both the church and German culture. It fostered the development of a standard version of the German language, added several principles to the art of translation, and influenced the writing of an English translation, the Tyndale Bible. His hymns influenced the development of singing in Protestant churches. His marriage to Katharina von Bora, a former nun, set a model for the practice of clerical marriage, allowing Protestant clergy to marry. WIKIPEDIA: The Free Encyclopedia: Martin Luther.

THE BEAST RECEIVED A DEADLY WOUND (REVELATION 13:3)

Many bible scholars depict the beginning of the Roman Catholic Empire as 538 A.D., primarily because the main opposition to the rise of the Papacy was vanquished around that period. This religious iconoclast’s wealth, power, and prestige didn’t occur overnight. It took centuries for the papal monarchy to be firmly entrenched with all of its trappings of power and prestige. There were many changes and struggles, wars, and theological disputes, along with changing political alignments, leading up to the firm establishment of the Roman Pontiff as the supreme authority in Religious and political affairs in the European Realm. There were outrageous abuses like all preceding world Empires, such as Egypt, Assyria, and Babylonia. However, as history has repeatedly demonstrated, nothing lasts forever.

The first blow to the hegemony of Roman Catholicism occurred with the development of the Great Schism: East-West Schism, event that precipitated the final separation between the Eastern Christian churches (led by the patriarch of Constantinople, Michael Cerularius) and the Western church (led by Pope Leo IX). The mutual excommunications by the pope and the patriarch in 1054 became a watershed in church history. The excommunications were not lifted until 1965, when Pope Paul VI and Patriarch Athenagoras I, following their historic meeting in Jerusalem in 1964, presided over simultaneous ceremonies that revoked the excommunication decrees. BRITANNICA: East-West Schism, Christianity, March 22, 2025.

The Western Schism (1378-1417):

From 1305 to 1377, the papal residence was moved from Rome to Avignon in southern France, and soon after its return to Rome in 1378, the great Schism of the West began.
This was a very difficult situation in which two popes appeared on the scene, and some years later, three (due to the different parties of cardinals gathered in conclave at Avignon, Rome, and Pisa). During all this upheaval, the Catholic people remained perplexed as to who was the legitimate pope. The Council of Constance (1415-1418) restored unity to the Church after a difficult trial, with the election of a new pope, Martin V.
MEDIUM: Divisions and Conflicts in Catholic Church History, by Obinna Oliseneku.

For many centuries, the Roman Catholic Church was the supreme source of knowledge, divine revelation, geography, and authority until a period of enlightenment known as the Renaissance commenced. This era began challenging many prevailing superstitions that were current in the Middle Ages and promulgated by the Roman Catholic Empire.

There is some debate over when exactly the Renaissance began. However, it is generally believed to have begun in Italy during the 14th century, after the end of the Middle Ages, and it reached its height there between the 1490s and the 1520s, a period referred to as the High Renaissance. Renaissance ideas and ways of thinking also began spreading to the rest of Europe in the 14th and 15th centuries. BRITANNICA: When Did The Renaissance Happen, March 19, 2025.

Prominent figures of the European Renaissance include:

the explorers Christopher ColumbusFerdinand Magellan, and Hernán Cortés. They proved that the earth is not flat but round. That you couldn’t fall off the edge of the earth by sailing around the world. Contrary to the teachings of the Church.

Niccolò Machiavelli, the philosopher and statesman known for the political treatise The Prince

Francis Bacon, a statesman and philosopher considered the master of the English tongue

Nicolaus Copernicus, the astronomer who developed the theory that the solar system was centered on the Sun. Contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church which taught that man and the earth were the center of God’s universe.

the poets Petrarch and Giovanni Boccaccio, who laid the foundations for humanism, the mode of thought at the core of the Renaissance

William Shakespeare, considered the greatest English dramatist of all time

Galileo, an astronomer and mathematician who helped disprove much medieval-era thinking in science. Ibid.

All of the above-mentioned historical developments did much to undermine the influence and prestige of the Roman Catholic religious, economic, and political Empire.

ELON MUSK’S IMPENDING DOOM (CONCLUDED )

Most sociopaths/psychopaths try to be secretive about their antisocial behaviour. Mr. Elon Musk, however, doesn’t even have enough sense to understand that there would be a massive social and economic backlash due to his many hostile acts, such as shutting down the United States Agency for International Aid. While waving his chain saw around and jumping up and down on stage like a monkey, he referred to the agencies being dismantled as the bureaucracy. As if that term represented some cancerous entities within our society that desperately needed to be surgically removed.

WASHINGTON -Billionaire Elon Musk, who is heading U.S. President Donald Trump’s drive to shrink the federal government, gave an update on the effort early Monday, saying work is underway to shut down the U.S. foreign aid agency USAID. Musk, who is also CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, discussed the Department of Government Efficiency in a social media talk on Monday on X, which he also owns. Trump has assigned Musk to lead a federal cost-cutting panel. The conversation, which included former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and Republican Senators Joni Ernst and Mike Lee, began with Musk saying they were working to shut down the United States Agency for International Development . “It’s beyond repair,” Musk said, adding that President Trump agrees it should be shut down. Meanwhile, most USAID staffers were told not to report to the agency’s headquarters in Washington on Monday and to work remotely, according to a copy of an email to personnel reviewed by Reuters. “Further guidance will be forthcoming,” the note said. On Sunday, Reuters reported the Trump administration removed two top security officials at USAID during the weekend after they tried to stop DOGE representatives from gaining access to restricted parts of the building, three sources said. Trump later on Sunday told reporters that USAID has “been run by a bunch of radical lunatics,” adding: “We’re getting them out, and then we’ll make a decision.” USAID is the world’s largest single donor. In fiscal year 2023, the U.S. disbursed $72 billion of assistance worldwide on everything from women’s health in conflict zones to access to clean water, HIV/AIDS treatments, energy security and anti-corruption work. It provided 42% of all humanitarian aid tracked by the United Nations in 2024. HINDUSTAN TIMES: Musk Says USAID To Be Shut Down In Government Cost-Cutting Drive, March 27, 2025

There is no perfect human institution, and there is always room for improvement. However, the hostility, savagery, callousness, and irresponsibility demonstrated by shuttering this agency entirely in such a short time cannot be portrayed nor described in words. It’s not surprising, therefore, that people are fighting back.

March 18 (Reuters) – A federal judge on Tuesday blocked billionaire Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency from taking any more steps to shut down the U.S. Agency for International Development, saying their efforts to close the foreign aid agency likely violated the U.S. Constitution. In a preliminary ruling, U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang in Maryland ordered Musk, a key adviser to President Donald Trump, and the agency Musk spearheads to restore access to USAID’s computer systems for its direct and contract employees, including thousands who were placed on leave. The ruling came in response to a lawsuit by current and former USAID employees, one of several currently pending over the rapid dismantling of Washington’s primary humanitarian aid agency. “Today’s decision is an important victory against Elon Musk and his DOGE attack on USAID, the U.S. government and the Constitution,” said Norm Eisen, executive chair of State Democracy Defenders Fund, a lawyer representing the 26 anonymous plaintiffs in the case. Trump told Fox News his administration would appeal the ruling. “I guarantee you we will be appealing it. We have rogue judges that are destroying our country,” Trump said on “The Ingraham Angle.” Trump, a Republican, on his first day back in the White House ordered a 90-day freeze of all U.S. foreign aid and a review of whether aid programs were aligned with his administration’s policy. REUTERS: US Judge Finds Musk’s USAID Cuts Likely Unconstitutional, Blocks Him From Making More Cuts, By Brendan Pierson, March 19, 2025.

The supposed Department of Government Efficiency has no respect for any institution. The Department of Veterans Affairs was similarly treated with great disdain, as staff from that agency were cut, and indispensable personnel were fired without explanation.

Veterans Betrayed: How the DOGE Purge Is Costing Them Jobs, Healthcare & Support

Trump and Musk’s DOGE purge isn’t just slashing government jobs—it’s gutting **Veterans’ livelihoods, healthcare, and support services**. Thousands of **Veterans who served this country** are now jobless, while VA staffing shortages are already cutting off critical care. Here’s what’s happening:

If these developments do not call citizens to resist anarchy, chaos, and nihilism, then I don’t know what will. Important social institutions that have been serving our communities and peoples for decades are being erased overnight. All these catastrophic changes are spearheaded by someone who is obviously a maniac.

Apparently, Mr. Musk has been reflecting upon his past actions and present dilemma.

“The inevitable outcome of having a political propaganda war waged against me while I have almost no countervailing campaign and, at times, digging my own grave way better than my enemies do.” YAHOO NEWS: DAILY BEAST, Elon Musk offers Tragic Response to New Reports Of His Unpopularity, Catherine Bouris, April 11, 2025.

Pollster Nate Silver’s statistics currently show that just 39.6 percent of Americans have a favorable view of Musk, compared to 53.5 percent with an unfavorable view. That makes Musk’s net favorability -13.8 percent. (Trump’s net approval rating, meanwhile, is also in the red at -5.1 percent.) Ibid.

Mr. Musk’s problems, however, are not confined to America. There is a massive backlash against him unfolding across Western Europe.

Thousands of people worldwide on Saturday protested Elon Musk and his efforts with Donald Trump to dismantle the US federal government, with rallies held in front of nearly every Tesla showroom in the US and many around the world – a concerted effort to go after the billionaire’s deep pockets as the CEO of the electric vehicle maker. Protest organizers asked people to do three things: don’t buy a Tesla, sell off Tesla stock and join the “Tesla Takedown” movement. “Hurting Tesla is stopping Musk,” reads one of the group’s taglines. “Stopping Musk will help save lives and our democracy.”On Saturday, with more than 200 events planned worldwide, protests kicked off midday in front of Tesla showrooms in Australia and New Zealand and then rippled across Europe in countries including Finland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, the Netherlands and the UK. Each rally was locally organized with original themes. In Ireland, it was “Smash the Fash”, and Switzerland had “Down with Doge”. Photos posted to Bluesky by Tesla Takedown showed demonstrators in San Jose, California, close to where Tesla was previously headquartered, and Austin, Texas, where its headquarters are now. The question uppermost in the minds of most well thinking people is: will Elon Must learn anything from all of these negative developments? Has the hatred, violence against Tesla Dealerships, destruction by fire of many Tesla automobiles, and ill will that he has engendered by his own ill advised intervention. In so many government agencies and also in politics world-wide. Have these volatile events taught him anything. His own daughter referred to him as a man child. Was she right? It just doesn’t seem as if Musk saw any of this coming but seems to be deriving a great deal of comfort and emotional security from his relationship with President Trump. The American political leader whose approval ratings are also plunging in the polls. seem powerless to stem the tide of violence against Tesla or to check the plunging value of Tesla’s stocks. Is Elon Musk’s financial ruin already on the horizon?
