Mr. Elon Musk, however, doesn’t even have enough sense to understand that there would be a massive social and economic backlash due to his many hostile acts, such as shutting down the United States Agency for International Aid. While waving his chain saw around and jumping up and down on stage like a monkey, he referred to the agencies being dismantled as the bureaucracy. As if that term represented some cancerous entities within our society that desperately needed to be surgically removed.

Meanwhile, most USAID staffers were told not to report to the agency’s headquarters in Washington on Monday and to work remotely, according to a copy of an email to personnel reviewed by Reuters. “Further guidance will be forthcoming,” the note said. On Sunday, Reuters reported the Trump administration removed two top security officials at USAID during the weekend after they tried to stop DOGE representatives from gaining access to restricted parts of the building, three sources said. Trump later on Sunday told reporters that USAID has “been run by a bunch of radical lunatics,” adding: “We’re getting them out, and then we’ll make a decision.” USAID is the world’s largest single donor. In fiscal year 2023, the U.S. disbursed $72 billion of assistance worldwide on everything from women’s health in conflict zones to access to clean water, HIV/AIDS treatments, energy security and anti-corruption work. There is no perfect human institution, and there is always room for improvement. In a preliminary ruling, U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang in Maryland ordered Musk, a key adviser to President Donald Trump, and the agency Musk spearheads to restore access to USAID’s computer systems for its direct and contract employees, including thousands who were placed on leave. The ruling came in response to a lawsuit by current and former USAID employees, one of several currently pending over the rapid dismantling of Washington’s primary humanitarian aid agency. “Today’s decision is an important victory against Elon Musk and his DOGE attack on USAID, the U.S. government and the Constitution,” said Norm Eisen, executive chair of State Democracy Defenders Fund, a lawyer representing the 26 anonymous plaintiffs in the case. The supposed Department of Government Efficiency has no respect for any institution. The Department of Veterans Affairs was similarly treated with great disdain, as staff from that agency were cut, and indispensable personnel were fired without explanation.

Important social institutions that have been serving our communities and peoples for decades are being erased overnight. All these catastrophic changes are spearheaded by someone who is obviously a maniac.

The question uppermost in the minds of most well thinking people is: will Elon Must learn anything from all of these negative developments? Has the hatred, violence against Tesla Dealerships, destruction by fire of many Tesla automobiles, and ill will that he has engendered by his own ill advised intervention. In so many government agencies and also in politics world-wide. Have these volatile events taught him anything. His own daughter referred to him as a man child. Was she right? It just doesn’t seem as if Musk saw any of this coming but seems to be deriving a great deal of comfort and emotional security from his relationship with President Trump. The American political leader whose approval ratings are also plunging in the polls. seem powerless to stem the tide of violence against Tesla or to check the plunging value of Tesla’s stocks.
